NEW SERIES Donal MacIntyre shows Crimewatch what they should have been doing all along, as he goes on location with police to film crime as it happens. Reality TV gone mad. Donal’s next series will be High Court Live, when he appears as a witness to all the felonies he has observed, and presumably the film crew will be up for aiding and abetting after failing to intervene.

After a week off for good behaviour, the Sona gang are back, and Whistler’s all twitchy when a new inmate claims to know him. Well, it may be that, or he may just be having trouble with the man’s highly suspect pan-European accent. The actor in question must have ‘foreign accent expert’ on his CV, as he’s just reared his head in Heroes series two as an equally unconvincing ‘Oirishman’.
